Question by dazeded_and_confuseded: Do I need a real estate license to rent out properties I own?
If I were to buy a couple of homes and/or condo’s, would I need a real estate license to rent them out? How about if I were to buy an apartment complex? Thanks in advance.

Normally you would not need any type of license in California, however, I understand that some states have a landlord permit or license requirement.

So in order for this question to be answered you would have to google your state with landlord permit/license (Your state)

Elected officials will do anything to have us pay any type of tax.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.
